My objective as a tutor is not to provide students with the answers, but to give them the skills they need to find the answers themselves. I attended the University of Houston for my bachelor's degree in electrical power engineering technology, and I continued on at the school to earn my masters degree in engineering technology. I believe that students succeed when they develop an interest in the subject and have the resources they need to solve problems effectively. I've always enjoyed math, and I am an effective tutor of math disciplines. I enjoy explaining topics by relating them to things the students understand from the real world. I can tutor algebra, calculus, elementary and middle school math, pre-calculus, multivariable calculus, quantitative reasoning, finite math, statistics, physics, study skills and organization, and test preparation for the ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, and more. When I have free time, I enjoy sports. These include cricket, football, and soccer. I also like to spend time outdoors.
