Experience
As an experienced educator, it is my passion to empower others to reach personal fulfillment. I carefully listen to the goals of my students and then draft my lessons and interaction to meet them where they are. I take my role in the education industry seriously, and have learned that each moment with students can be an opportunity for something profound. I am actively engaged in the overall achievement of my students, my community, and local institutions. Moreover, I know that as much as I am a teacher, I am also a learner, and will never cease to seek new ways to better my skills as a tutor. Most of my experience thus far has been tutoring elementary and middle school students. I am able to cover a large selection of topics including the areas of math, reading speed and comprehension, essay writing, public speaking, test prep (ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc.), and general study skills. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending my free time with my family. I am also an outdoor enthusiast who like to mountain bike and run trails.
