Hello! I taught 10th, 11th and 12th grade students for three years with Gertz Ressler High School, College Ready Alliance in Los Angeles, California. I am a two time Epic award winner for excellence in teaching. I have written my own creative, interactive curriculum that is standards based for Health, Sex Education, English, Creative Writing and Drama. I currently reside in metro-Detroit, but have successful tutored off-site in a variety of subjects. In addition, I have been a professional writer for a wealth of online and editorial publications. I have also been a Director of Development for a crisis nursery writing grants that earned over $800,000 in the span of one-year. Thus, demonstrating my own success as a writer as well. I want to be a tutor because I am able to do what I love-help students in need while also being there for my two boys.

I have two boys and when they are not asking me to cut off the crust of their toast and then make another piece of toast and leave the crust on, I enjoy reading, writing, swimming and dancing. I love to play guitar and sing. I am an advocate for kids and I thoroughly enjoy working with students young and old(er).
